Colonial Insurance

Colonial Life provides short term disability insurance protection. Through this program Colonial helps assure your financial security in the event of a disability caused by illness or injury. Benefits can begin as quickly as the same day of an accident disability and after only 7 days in the event of a disability caused by a sickness. You can enroll in benefits for periods of 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. Colonial can protect up to 66 2/3% of your salary which is in most cases very close to your take home pay. Taxes do not have to be paid on any benefits received from Colonial. There is also a maternity benefit included.
